About: Every year WSU has a print and web holiday card contest open to students. The contest began to be featured on WSU social media in 2010, and began to be featured on WSU’s homepage in 2011. After a winner was picked, finalists were interviewed about their cards, and they submitted a digital copy of their print card as well as the Flash e-card. The Flash e-card was converted to a video and upload to WSU’s YouTube. The digital copies of the print cards were uploaded to WSU’d Facebook and Flickr. The interviews were upload to YouTube as well. As you can see from the YouTube copy below, all of this content was linked to each other. WSU sent out the winning e-card in a mass email to current students, alumni, and more. Along with the e-card, was a link to WSU’s social media page, which featured the the holiday card content from the social media sites.
